Dental Insurance
Richmond Central Dental will accept any major Canadian insurance company. We will file the claim to the insurance company on the patient’s behalf and will provide an estimate of coverage; however we cannot guarantee the insurance company will provide full estimated coverage. We accept direct settlement from insurance plans, which means that you will be asked to pay only that portion of the total fee estimated to be your cost. At all times, however, you are responsible for all fees and costs not settled by your insurance plan.
Appointment
Each appointment is time reserved especially for the patient and our team will do the utmost to respect our patients’ time. Our office is open extended hours for the convenience of our patients, and in consideration of their work schedule and children’s school responsibilities. By being open 7 days a week as well as being open mall hours we can meet your dental health care needs at a time that is convenient for you.
Cancellation Policy
The goal of Richmond Central Dental is to serve the needs of all patients, especially those in acute pain. There are many times when our patients require urgent or emergency treatment and therefore require and appointment as soon as possible. Our practice policy is that patients wishing to change their commitment to scheduled appointments for the sake of their convenience must give the practice a minimum of 48 hours notice. When patients give the clinic advanced notice of their need to cancel a scheduled appointment, this time can in turn, be allocated to these patients in need of urgent treatment. If less than 48 hours notice is given to cancel an appointment a $100 fee will be assessed. In the event that no notice is given and patient does not show up for their scheduled appointment a fee will be assessed based upon the circumstance of appointment.
Please note that insurance companies do not cover the fees for broken appointments, therefore payment is the patient’s responsibility.
